Unlabelled Setlist January 12th

Unlabled 01.12.14 ft. Joyful Noise Recordings

Joyful Noise Recordings is a record label based out of Indianapolis, IN which seeks to bridge the gap between pop and noise. They focus more on the limited edition “boutique” side of things, such as their 2012 Flexi Disc series which featured a never before released track from several bands including Akron/Family, of Montreal and Deerhoof. Their first album to chart on Billboard was Kishi Bashi’s 151a released in 2012. Joyful Noise also releases many albums from other labels on cassette. Formed in 2003 by Karl Hoffstetter, Joyful Noise Recordings is not your average indie rock label, but rather seeks “foster incredible music using unique and highly-tactile physical media.”
