THANK YOU to all during pledge drive!

We want to give a HUGE THANK YOU to all who helped in our Spring 2013 Pledge Drive!

To the listener–you are the reason for our existence, and we couldn’t do it without you. Thank you for your continued generous support. Day in and day out, we want to bring you the best music, across decades, across genres, that we can. Our influx of new music, our old favorites, our specialty shows, our albums and concert reviews, the music news, the ticket giveaways, the events, the calendar of all the best music, the in-studios, the interviews, and so much more–they are all for YOU, so thank you for making them possible. Thanks for believing in what we do and continuing the support that Radio 1190 has for the musical, educational, and local communities as well.

We have some partners to thank as well!

Thank you to the Colorado Outward Bound School for their generous donation of a very Colorado (and we love CO!) mountaineering course in the Rocky Mountains. They aim to inspire character development and self-discovery in all people through challenge and adventure, and their passion for the outdoors is definitely very cool. Adventure on!

Thank you to IndyInk for not only wonderfully crafting our pledge drive tees and hoodies every year, but also for their donation of private screenprinting classes. They are experts at what they do, and we’re always looking forward to seeing more. Plus–have you stopped by their shop? They have a ton of great art prints, tees, and more that show off their craft and the work of sweet artists.

Thank you to Sputnik for hooking up some of our pledgers with gift cards! Sputnik is one of our favorite Denver restaurants/bars/hang-outs–always great music, great food, and that photobooth is always fun too. Definitely a great place to hang out before catching a show at the Hi-Dive too.

Thank you to the newly established Mutiny Information Cafe for their gift card donation! Formed from Mutiny Now, the Cafe aims to create a space where people can shop for books and enjoy coffee in a place that stimulates both the mind and the senses. A really great spot with a diverse selection of new and used books, records, and comics.

Thank you to Treefort Music Fest in Boise, ID for sending one supporter to the music fest! From Dan Deacon to Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Built to Spill to Earth, Youth Lagoon to Sage Francis, as well as a bunch of Colorado’s own local musicians, they had a great thing going, and we hope to see good things from them again next year.

Thank you to Half Fast Subs on the Hill in Boulder for gift cards! Anyone who lives in Boulder knows they are a classic go-to for a tasty sub, and have the biggest selection we’ve ever seen! Plus once the weather warms up, the patio is a great place to be.

Big thanks to our food sponsors as well for keeping our volunteers happy and fed!

Illegal Pete’s (burritos, yeah!)
Noodles & Company (pasta, yeah!)
Hapa Sushi(sushi, yeah!)
Moe’s Bagels (bagels, yeah!)
Rio Grande (enchiladas, yeah!)

All stepped up the deliciousness game.

Missed out? Still want to give 1190 your support? You can do so via the big shiny orange donate button to your right all year round.

Again, thank you, thank you, thank you! Radio 1190 exists for you all. Now, back to what’s most important: the music.
