Pledge Drive is LIVE!

Our Spring 2013 Pledge Drive is here! Help support Radio 1190 and our commitment to music, education, and community!

Pledge drive is here both online and over the phone. We want YOUR help to keep the “on-air light shining bright and help us to bring you the best of the best.”

Donating is simple: you can pledge online HERE or click that big, shiny, orange DONATE button to your right. It’s fast, easy, and super secure and by doing so, you’re showing us that you support independent, student-run radio, love what we do, and value Radio 1190 in your life. You can also donate over the phone by calling our volunteers at 303 735 7625.

When you support Radio 1190 in our quest to bring the best in music, education, and community–we give back! $60: Two passes to the 4-day Treefort Music Fest, March 21 – 24

In downtown Idaho, something great is happening soon, and you could be there! The Treefort Music Fest has some really great artists on their line-up: Sharon Jones and the Dap King, The Walkmen, Animal Collective, Built to Spill, Earth, The Thermals, YACHT, Brother Ali, Youth Lagoon, Dan Deacon, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Foxygen, Japanther, and ton more, including great representation from Denver including Bad Weather California, Flashlights, Rubedo, and School Knights.

$150: Private screenprinting lessons for two at IndyInk

IndyInk has created our pledge drive shirts wonderfully for years and makes other cool stuff like prints, too. That wisdom can be yours. Dave of IndyInk will be giving private lessons for two so that you can learn the art yourself–maybe a new favorite hobby?

Whether you want to live the music or live on the wild side, we have your back.

These are available by silent auction, seen at the right under “donate”. These great experiences go to, well, the highest bidder. There’s some great stuff here, so your support towards what Radio 1190 goes towards a time too.

If festival season is what you’re after, we have passes to Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival ($539 value) and HangOut Festival ($458 value).

Always one of the biggest and best music events of the year, Bonnaroo brings fantastic artists from all over for four days of exhilarating live music across a scenic 700-acre Tennessee farm. 10+ stages. Comedians. Excitement. Art. And…well, live music again. On a farm in Manchester, TN some pretty great acts get together: Bjork, Wilco, Wu-Tang Clan, David Byrne & St. Vincent, The xx, Grizzly Bear, Beach House, The Tallest Man on Earth, Father John Misty… frankly, we could probably keep going forever.

There also isn’t very many rivals for the location of Hangout Fest: the sandy white beaches of Gulf Shores, AL. There you can see: Stevie Wonder, Kings of Leon, The Shins, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Kendrick Lamar, The Roots, Dirty Projectors and more! Also: beach-side access, amusement rides.

If you like your trips more intense, we have a Colorado Rockies Mountaineering Course ($2,995 value) from the Colorado Outward Bound School. This two-week mountaineering expedition in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains is distinct from backpacking in that your peak attempts require technical assistance and the travel may be more challenging. These factors contribute to making this one of Outward Bound’s most physically challenging courses. Ideal students are fit, motivated and ready to take on challenge. This course begins July 1.
