During the 24th annual Tibet House Benefit last night at Carnegie Hall, Iggy Pop joined New Order on stage to perform Joy Division‘s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” and “Transmission”. The group also ran through a version of New Order’s “Californian Grass”, from last year’s Lost Sirens. (Performed live for the first time ever, according to Bernard Sumner.) Watch video of “Californian Grass” and “Love Will Tear Us Apart” below, via Slicing Up Eyeballs.

As previously reported, the Carnegie Hall event also included performances from Phillip Glass, members of the National (who were joined by Sufjan Stevens), and Patti Smith, who did a cover of Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day”.
