RJD2 is Ramble John Krohn, a hip-hop producer. RJD2 was born in Eugene, Oregon, and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Until recently, he was part of the Definitive Jux label and produced tracks for many of its artists, as well as having a solo career. In 2006, RJ “ditched hip-hop” for the indie-rock label XL, releasing The Third Hand in March 2007. Karma to Burn is an American instrumental stoner rock band. The band was formed in 1994, in Hicksville, West Virginia (actually Morgantown, West Virginia, though this was a running joke also reflected in bios of the band on other Web sites). Their instrumental album Almost Heathen is widely regarded as on par Kyuss’ Welcome to Sky Valley and Monster Magnet’s Spine of God, as one of the defining albums of the stoner rock genre, although the band themselves referred to their style as malternative.

Cursive is an indie rock band from Omaha, Nebraska, United States. The band records for the label Saddle Creek Records, which is one of the Saddle Creek flagship artists. The band was formed in 1995 by Tim Kasher, Matt Maginn, Steve Pedersen (all formerly of Slowdown Virginia), and drummer Clint Schnase. In 1997, they released Such Blinding Stars for Starving Eyes.
