Dr. Dog is a indie rock group from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania which formed in 1999. The current lineup consists of Scott “Taxi” McMicken (vocals, guitar), Toby “Tables” Leaman (vocals, bass), Zach “Text” Miller (keyboards, guitar), Frank “Thanks” McElroy (guitar) and Eric “Teach” Slick (drums). “There’s a little folk, blues, indie rock, soul, bluegrass—and a whole lot of down-home harmonizing. Houndmouth is a collaborative folk/rock band from the lowland plains and farmlands of Indiana and Kentucky. Their poetry emphasizes foolhardiness, and their soulful harmonies carry far. Once a folk duo, Katie Toupin and Matt Myers (of the Saint James Hotel) joined up with Shane Cody (Riffraff Revival) and Zak Appleby to create a colossal electric sound with bouncy half-time beats, punchy guitar riffs, and a bit of facial hair.

A folk-pop ensemble from Los Angeles, California, the five-member Milo Greene are largely centered around vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Marlana Sheetz, although the bandmembers share lead and background vocals and often switch instruments from song to song. Formed in Northern California around 2009, the group originally featured Sheetz, Robbie Arnett, and Andrew Heringer. After relocating to Los Angeles, the trio added singer/multi-instrumentalist Graham Fink and percussionist Curtis Marrero. Milo Greene released their self-titled debut album in 2012.
