Dressy Bessy at the Bluebird Theater

Now, normally the Bluebird is one of my favorite venues in town, at least in the last 5 years.  The sound is usually better.  The vocals were a little low.  You could hear everything clearly with the exception of the vocals.  It was a little more noticeable for Pacific Pride and The Omens.  Both bands really started the Bluebird rockin’.

Pacific Pride was loud and ready to take on anything until the guitar incident.  They had to borrow a guitar from The Omens.

The Omens dealt with a dog bite prior to the show, and the many requests for pain killers and booze after each song just had the crowd laughing and excited for the many songs that came their way.

Then out came Dressy Bessy to the stage.  “Fuck you Denver, no just kidding”, yelled Tammy, and then she started playing that fantastic guitar.  Dressy Bessy hit the stage at the Bluebird Theater to a lighter than expected crowd.  That didn’t stop that super cute, lip curling bad-ass from taking complete control of the venue.

Tammy really had the place moving!  So much so, that there was a 70 plus year old, who threw her cane down and proceeded to hang on the railing so she could shake her goods to the music.  She was so into Dressy Bessy even security was a little nervous that she was going to break something.

Dressy Bessy is still completely on their game and they sound as amazing as ever.  I cannot wait for the next show.  I know I will be there.
