Hi 1190 Friends. I miss you. Like really miss you. It’s your friend DJ Alisha. I haven’t been on the airwaves since May. I’m taking some time off to be grown up and my work hours aren’t conducive to me being on the air right now. They’re not really conducive to me being too social at all, but I’ll be back in 2011. I PROMISE. Okay, I’ll get all Brokeback on you and say “I CAN’T QUIT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

So what have you been up to? Any cool concerts? I wish I was at The National concert that’s going on right this very moment. But… I will be at the Sleigh Bells/Pictureplane show this Saturday, FIND ME! What about movies? Anything I should put in my Netflix queue? What are you listening to? Where are you hanging out? Did you buy some watts?

Did you know it was my birthday last Friday? My mom bought me baking sheets, perhaps she’s hinting that I make her some cookies this holiday season! I wanted a bike for my birthday…. CLICK ON THIS BIKE, ITS AWESOME & I WANT IT!!!>> …but my parents opted for a more modest present.

Oh, speaking of holidays what are you doing for New Year’s Eve? I’ll be at the Warlock Pinchers show!

PS: How’s the new Belle and Sebastian record? My friend told me that her work plays KBCO and that she heard a song from the new record on their station! She said she died a little on the inside. Secretly I did too!
