As radio stations go, Radio 1190 offers the Denver metro area the chance to hear a wide variety of indie artists without being limited to one genre. You can switch on 1190AM and hear electronica, hip-hop, punk, rock, or definition-less music…Even better, Radio 1190 talks about upcoming concerts that are worth checking out. Showcasing touring independent artists who are making stops in Denver/Boulder allows the station’s audience to broaden their musical horizons, while other stations tend to talk about the bigger shows that they are sponsoring.
