Results announced on Wednesday live on 1190 from 5-6pm and as always the results posted shortly after the broadcast on this here blog.

How’s it going? Did you watch the Oscars? I didn’t but saw run-down of winners and heard a little about features like a horror movie feature and a tribute to John Hughes that I will have to find online somewhere. What was your choice for Best Picture? I didn’t see all nominees (including Hurt Locker) so I can’t really say. Also, I was sad to read that Mark Linkous the gentleman behind Sparklehorse and other great musical projects took his life on Friday. I DJ’d a 21+ Prom the other night at Jonesy’s Eat Bar, it was super fun… it enabled me to mix some of my favorite indie love songs with songs that I don’t necessarily get to play on the radio (like Lita Ford’s “Kiss Me Deadly”). The people there wanted lot’s of slow dances, and 80s/90s. Very nostalgic, too bad I didn’t have a hot date to slow dance with while the songs were on…
